Over the past few days we have been dumped on with 18+ inches of snow, so naturally I went to shovel our drive and walkway..... which led to a big pile of snow on the lawn.... which led to me seeing how big the pile could get...... which led to a snow cave.... which led to Tiff having to come out and remind me that it was after 2..... am. I get a bit obsessed a times, what can I say. For a first snow cave though, I'd say it's not to shabby. It even came with a miniature snow man that Landon and I built. Landon loves it,

We decided last minute to head to Cali for the Christmas break to spend some time with my family. It was much needed, all but the drive, which wasn't as bad as the last trip out. This time around we only enjoyed 3 to 4 hours of screaming........each way. OK, 1 of those hours was me. And for the first time in who knows how long we got a pic of the grand and great-grand kids with grandma.

Hendrix, watch out for the Cook boys

He was really into this one.

I'm starting to blog as much as I write in a journal now. Things are well with us, school full time and no job now (other than school). Landon starts Preschool this week. He is really excited to ride the bus (and yes it is a short bus, doh). If a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a short novel:

This was a cool place just outside of SLC that I took my youth group up to. It's called Sundial Peak.

This is the Motley Crue.

Brogan working his way into walking.

Landon wanted nothing to do with a Halloween costume, so I told him we would go play baseball. That worked, and then he caught on to the "go to the door and get candy thing".

Brog was a giraffe.

And Brog's first B-Day. We made him his very own cake. It really didn't take him long to catch on.

I know, I know it's been a while. Since the last update, we have put Landon through language therapy hoping to rid him of swearing. Here are the latest pics of the kids. We are good, just really busy with 2 jobs, school full time and family. So here they are.....

Warning, there is a swear in here. Just a quick story to illustrate Tiff's need to clean up her language. Landon has been having a tough time with peeing the bed lately. So, Sunday when we got home from church Landon and I go into his room to change his sheets. As I am pulling off the sheets he looks at me (only as Landon does) and says, "oh shit daddy, I pottied the bed, shit, shit, shit, opps... shoot". I had to leave the room, you just can't laugh in front of him. I realized that he picks up on EVERYTHING, due to the shoot at the end, that's what I do to cover my tracks, or so I thought, he just thought it was part of the phrase. I claim nothing of this, Tiff is the one home with them all day.

Well, here we are, again in Utah. The move went smooth, the drive exciting, and the time spent with Landon was priceless. Between peeing in chip bags (That was Landon, I can get out of the truck) and enough junk food to stop a whale's heart, and hearing a time narration every, and I mean EVERY progressing minute for an hour straight, it was adventurous. Oregon will be missed dearly, but it will be there for a while. Now begins the long journey of school, again. Kids are great. Brogan is huge and getting around pretty well by himself now, taking after his dad's culinary taste with his "experimental" baby meals of turkey, avocado, and green beans, and Landon, well, need I say anything? Pictures are worth a thousand words, eh? Following are a few of the things we've been tourchering, I mean teaching the kids!

This was supposed to be Tiffany's pet, but as you well know she already has 3 of them to deal with. Being one of them, and finished for the semester, I have a spare moment to update this beast. Life has taken a slight sigh of relief (only temporary though, as this will be the last for a few years) and we are getting ready to make the trip to Mecca next week. Enjoy the updates.

Easter with the pals CC and Caden

Going in for the half nelson.

We have been fortunate enough to spend a good amount of time at the beach, it is one of Landon and Jason's favorite places to be, so it will be missed dearly. This was our last trip before the move.

Ahh, the taste of the good life. My pudgy son begins his journey into the life of food lover.
